Google Earth Bleg

So, I just upgraded to Google Earth 4.3

Here’s the deal, it used to be great. Fantastic even. A wonderful source for scouting because I could swoop in and get a sense of what the terrain was like - how steep, how remote, etc. No more. Does anyone know how I can turn the 3d viewing back on???

  1. Go to Tools->Options, turn up the terrain quality. (You may have to restart the application for it to work, though.)

You can also turn on 3d Buildings with the Layers panel.

Then just use the controls in the right-hand corner to move the camera.

(I think this is what you want.)

  2. Danka.

That worked well. Turning on the terrain was really what I needed to do
