Getting All Froggy
Going out celebrating tonight.
We pulled the oldest from private school a couple of weeks ago and enrolled him in our local elementary school. The difference in attitude is amazing and I’m shocked in how much he picked up in 1/2 a week at his new school compared to almost a full year at the private school.
But thats not what we are celebrating - rather, he was accepted into Fairfax County’s amazing language immersion program. He’ll be spending half his day speaking French.
And in that honor, here’s a sampling of the the great conquests he has before him (Kim Style)

Yummmmm….. but wow, there are many very patriotic Americans who’d want to take you out back and pistol whip you for letting your kid learn French. Porquoi? This country’s being overrun by people who speak Spanish. Your kid might be a minority eventually!!! He’ll be able to speak American and French… but won’t know how to communicate with much of the population!!!!
P.S. you oughta explain his change in attitude at good old public school vs. private. Very interested in that.

yeah, yeah I know Zooma. But i figure the French seem to have gotten a clue in the last election - and French was the only language choice in our pinko liberal school district.
As to public vs private??? thats an entire post for another day (once the school year is out)

Okie dokie. Actually maybe he should be learning Chinese because it’s them, after all, who will surely be invading America someday… militarily, that is. The Mexicans will head back South and here we’ll be, a Communist nation with Chinese leadership. Quite a thought but I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens before our time is expired.
