The Simpsons Movie
Not terribly good
Not bad, mind you. Just not something you have to see. Or see in the movie theater.
WARNING SPOILER BELOW
Best part, probably the first 5 minutes of the movie. The rest of it was ok frankly, considering how much I laugh at home watching it, there really were no parts that had people on the floor laughing. Sure, they do some dumb things for minor jokes - Homer looks at audience and says how dumb you are for paying to see something they get for free at home; they have ads for Fox shows scrolling along the bottom with witty text pointing out that it even occurs at movies; and things like that.
Those were the best parts.
And Barts naked skateboard scene. That was pretty funny, but not anything we didn’t see at the end of Austin Powers (well, except for Barts junk).
Color me disappointed.

I was disappointed they actually went for Barts junk too. It would have been funnier if they hadn’t.
I’ve got pretty much the same impression as you. They pretty much took two episodes worth of jokes and storylines, stretched them out into four episodes worth of time, and called it a movie. I didn’t even bother posting a review.
