The Simpsons
Just got back from the NRA (did I ever tell you how much I hate the NRA Range these days??? Wait tonight was over an hour). Loaded up 60 rounds last night and shot the new trigger on the Marlin.
Like Butter
Put every shot in a 5 inch hole at 50 yards.
Standing, off hand.
Sure, not a 1 inch group - but then my Marlin isn’t a 1 inch national match rifle. Its a deer killer. And a 5 inch hole will do plenty of that.
Went straight to Tysons Corner (like walking into some Islamic 90210, ugh) to see the Simpsons movie.
That’s where I am now. Watching previews in a HUGE stadium theater - with the dead center seat.
Open carrying. (good thing too, cause I’m surrounded by fucking muslim terrorists). And no one noticed a thing.
Previews so far:
Alvin and the Chipmunks (snooooze)
New Batman (looks dark and forboding)
Jerry Seinfelds Bee Movie (go back to retierment)
The Rush (dumb jackie Chan movie, I can’t wait to see it).

Its fucking little Riyad these days.
Everyone (and I mean every single person) on line last night was speaking a foreign language. well over 2/3rds were speaking Arabic or Farsi and the rest were Korean.
Only Americans at the theater were the kid at the candy counter and myself.

My wife and I hated Tyson’s Corner when we lived in Reston. If I had the choice between Tyson’s Corner and taking a sharp kick to the groin, I’m not going to lie, taking the groin shot would have been a possibility.
Why not just drive the extra 20 minutes and go to the theater in the Reston Town Center?

Cause Tysons is 5 minutes from my house and I was coming back from the NRA.
Also, they have a much nicer theater in Tysons. Just opened a pretty impressive expansion of the mall - put in some nice restaurants and a 12 screen stadium seating AMC theater.
but I hate the place.
