Is anyone else still fuming mad anymore? Do people get it or was Osama correct – that we were weak with no taste for blood?

Sorry, but I remain upset.

I still want to cry and I still want to scream and I still want to hide in the closet shaking and I still want to extract gallons of blood in revenge.

Yes, revenge.

I want to make these people pay and pay dearly. The fires of hell alone are not enough penance for what they have put this country through. I don’t want Zacarias Moussaoui  tried and convicted, I want him thrown to masses to be torn limb from limb in an orgy of blood lust before throwing his rotting fetid flesh to the pigs.

I want nuke Iran. Forget North Korea (well, don’t, but forgive me a second) and eliminate Syria.

Lets not forget. Ever.

Janice Rogers Brown

Remember the hysterics from the left over Janice Rogers Brown?

How they screamed and yelled that her “extreme anti-environmental record” ensured her a place next to George Bush and James Watt in the hall of Environmental Wrongdoers?

Justice Brown’s record in her judicial opinions, speeches, and her Judiciary Committee testimony is extreme and displays an amazing hostility to government safeguards that is especially disturbing for a nominee to a lifetime seat on this critical court.

So, what then is her environmental record since assuming a place on the D.C. Circuit last year?

Well, first she sided with enviros and decided to throw out the Bush NSR changes a couple of months ago. Then, this week, she again sided with the enviro’s in sticking down EPA’s Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program which set forth annual averaging standards, not daily standards.

I wonder if they will ever admit they were wrong?

Blog Commenting Advice

Filed under:Uncategorized — posted by Countertop on @ 6:37 am

So, if while blog surfing, you moved to leave a comment, you ought to make sure it has something generally to do with the entry your commenting on. And, when it doesn’t, its sort of a good idea to read what else the author has posted before accusing him of capitulating to this.

The Second Amendment means nothing outside of hunting.

Our forefathers gave us that right to fend off a military takeover in the U.S. – by either the left or the right.

Apparently, since most gun owners are far right they didn’t see fit to fight the far right takeover so here we are. On the verge of martial law.

You’ll imitate your German counterparts of 70 years ago. You’ll allow them to take away any weapon that gives you parity with the military. You know you barely made a peep when the Brady Bill took away your assault rifles, which is what you’ll need to effectively combat troops.

What a bunch of cowards, and what a sore disgrace you are to our forefathers who gave their blood for the likes of you.

Of course, what else can we expect from the Dingle Berry Ministries?

Karma Police

I think this might be the best version of the song I’ve heard.

Its from David Letterman’s show and includes a great electronic Rhodes piano.

For an outstanding analysis of this song, far better than I could write, check out the wikipedia entry.

Karma Police
Words and Music by Radiohead

Karma police
arrest this man,
he talks in maths,
he buzzes like a fridge,
he’s like a detuned radio.

Karma police
arrest this girl,
her Hitler hairdo
is making me feel ill
and we have crashed her party.

This is what you get,
this is what you get,
this is what you get,
when you mess with us.

Karma police
I’ve given all I can,
it’s not enough,
I’ve given all I can
but we’re still on the payroll.

This is what you get,
this is what you get,
this is what you get,
when you mess with us.

For a minute there
I lost myself, I lost myself.
Phew, for a minute there,
I lost myself, I lost myself.

For a minute there
I lost myself, I lost myself.
Phew, for a minute there,
I lost myself, I lost myself.

Oklahoma City

Cam’s right, I had forgetton today was the anniversary of the terrible Oklahoma City tragedy.

My heart goes out to the people of that fine city.

In April of 2005 I had just graduated college and was working in the marketing department of APC, a job I got partly through my position as a help desk/help line staffer at the University of Rhode Island computer department. I wasn’t a computer science major, and I think thats something they liked. I knew alot about computers back then and yet, as a Poli Sci major destined for law school I was able to communicate and assist the vast student body in ways the computer folks couldn’t.

Anyway, APC was just down the street from my house at the time. Having forgotten lunch, I headed home and my wife (girlfriend at the time) was sitting in the living room watching CNN and crying.

We were 100% certain it was Arab terrorists. We were wrong, and shocked, when they arrested the ghouls responsible.

I guess one reason why this story is less remembered these days is probably as a result of the capture, conviction, and execution of the person responsible. For many Americans it was a sense of closure, though I suspect that the hole in the heart of Oklahoma will never be closed.

I Wouldn’t Believe It Either

The freshman said he couldn’t believe he was being robbed — in the middle of a spring afternoon, just outside his dormitory at Catholic University in Northeast Washington. He was one of more than a dozen victims of carjackings and robberies during a terrifying few hours Monday in the District and Prince George’s County.

I am shocked, just shocked that something like this could happen in gun free DC.

Who is to blame??

lets start with the Mayor and his corrupt chief of police who continue to fan the flames of violence that come when criminals know all non criminals are disarmed.

Of course, it would be nice if the reporters covering the story actually knew anything about what they were reporting. For instance . . .

Aiming an assault pistol directly at the college freshman’s face, the robber cocked the gun. The student heard a clack as a round entered the chamber.

Forget for a second the obvious question – what the hell is an assault pistol and when was this new catagory of menacing arm develoepd – are they really claiming (or is this Catholic University student claiming) that simply cocking the hammer back placed a bullet in the chamber? Or did the goblin rack the slide (an action that requires the use of a second hand)?

Then, about 1:30 p.m., four assailants, wearing black hoods, stormed a family-run auto parts store, Safe-N-Sound Auto Systems, in Adelphi. One pulled out an assault pistol and pointed it at a salesman, who exchanged a nervous look with his aunt, who also worked in the store, and a customer.

Aah, that assault pistol again. It would really be nice to find out just what this is? And, while I don’t criticize the failure of the victim or his co-workers to shoot back while be held up, why in the hell didn’t they shoot the twerp in the back as he was leaving (oh yeah, they have been disarmed, lets blame this one on Doug Duncan and Paris Glendening)

By 3:30 p.m., the assailants were hanging out in a parking lot next to a dormitory at Catholic University in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue NE, police said. After robbing the freshman and his brother, the gunman strode over to the dorm’s entrance. He held the assault pistol by his side, the freshman said.

There’s that dreaded assault pistol again. Jeesh . . . what the heck kind of weapon could this be???

Yesterday, some of those who live or attend schools in neighborhoods targeted by the robbers said they were shocked by the brazen crimes.

“It’s so scary,” said Lauren Treacy, 18, a freshman at Catholic. “I know I have to be careful.”

About two miles away, at Howard, where one of the carjackings occurred, freshman Kimberly Williams, 19, was trying to come to terms with the suddenness of it all.

“I wouldn’t expect that to happen here in broad daylight,” she said.

I would . . .

More pressing matters (my job) have interfered this week and so I am sad to inform you I won’t be able to offer my usual bang up, fun filled, compelling carnival. Instead, you’ll just have to make do with this short and concise list of links to all who haven’t fully swallowed the party’s kool-aid.

First off, My good buddy Tyler Durden has some thoughts on Julie Roberts.

Julia Roberts wanting credit for bringing her own fancy cup to Starbucks is like a rapist wanting credit because he put in a mix tape.

You have positively, absolutely, 100% have to love a story like this.

Is there a war on Christians? Who knows, but judging from Comedy Central’s reaction to Mohammed, there most certainly isn’t any sort of popular media animosity to the nation’s sworn enemies. Tyler has also offered to share with us a great roundup of Mohammed’s apperances on Comedy Central.  Of course, as I asked the other day, if its forbidden to publish (or even recreate) the image of Mohammad, then how the heck do these idiots know what he looks like in the first place?

How do we know he doesn’t look like this?

Regardless, i am sure he would love to sit back with a glass of this as he watches us continue to kick his ass.

And then, there was Jessica

As poor of a job as Bush has been doing running the economy as of late (and don’t think gas can’t hit $4 a gallon by election day), modern democrats still seem intent on throwing away an election that is theirs to lose. For one, pro Iran is simply not a good position. Ever.

See Fruit Fly!!!

Of course, there are other problems with liberals. Mostly they revovle around getting facts straight, hyperbole, and their inability to find their ass with both hands on an ass map.

Tax day is another problem with liberals. They were due today, and their not the only way the government steals your money. Turns out, they are more than willing to offer your returns up for sale as well.

Tax Day is also BAG Day, an annual event in the blogsphere wherein honest citizens dedicate a portion of the stolen money they’ve manged to recover from the government to the purchase of a firearm in order to keep that corrupt beast (the government) in check. Here’s a list of this years purchases so far. I haven’t actually gotten my cash back yet, so I am still deliberating on what my purchase should be, though I suspect it will be of the EBR Homeland Security variant.

Just another reason to hate DC. Of course, I can give you a couple too.

Lots of people have also posted about Greenpeace Founder Patrick Moore and Climate Change. Here’s an official RINO link. I try not to blog about work, but in the interest of full disclosure, I have worked fairly closely with Dr. Moore on a number of issues over the last 3 or 4 years. This op-ed doesn’t surprise me in the least. We don’t agree on everything (or even a lot) but I have found him to be one of the most reasonable environmentalist I’ve ever met.

Brown v Board of Ed, revisited.

This makes no sense to me. Either he was indicted or he wasn’t. If the prosecutor wasn’t a member of the bar, then he couldn’t indict him, and he should be able to be a second time. If he was a member of the bar, then there is no need to toss the indictment out.

Barry Bonds, true to life crook and cheat and bastard, but can his Doctor testify against him?

Finally, Dean Esmay is looking at racists.

Thanks for stopping by!
