Jim Swan has a great column on ESPN’s web page about the ethics of outdoorsman.

It revolves around Aldo Leapold’s land ethic.

A thing is right when it tends to preserve the integrity, stability and beauty of the biotic community. It is wrong when it does otherwise.

Read it, you might learn something.
